Cono Cheesemakers is a leading cooperative of dairy farmers from the Beemster (NH) and makes various cheeses, such as the well-known brand 'Beemster'. Together with the packager of Beemster cheese, the Foodatelier has been asked to answer questions in the field of technical product development in relation to cheese chips.
Flavors and mixes were first developed on a kitchen scale and then tested and optimized on the line. Ultimately, we delivered a fully developed concept, including cost price calculation, sensory substantiation and product proposition. The latter has been used for various marketing and sales purposes.
